Grandchester Fund Raising Day

A rare opportunity for fund raising has been made available to Steaming on the Downs.

Grandchester Model Live Steam Assoc. is offering the takings from the rides at their Public Run Day on the 6^th July.

Steaming on the Downs need to supply drivers and Locos if suitable for passenger hauling to pull passengers for the duration and for a few more members to help in the Canteen.

1. A busy day is envisaged, so we need help.
2. Raffles on the day could be another way to increase takings. Contact Geoff if you have some ideas.
3. Steaming on the Downs will put together a couple of Hamper type raffles.
4. SUSCI will donate some passes to the Rally.
5. We will bundle together some end mills as prizes.
6. Closed in shoes required for driving, and also for working in the canteen.
7. To drive at Grandchester you will need to have been inducted into the system.
